What makes a good upload
A phone photo is plenty. The requirement is not quality, it is isolation — one garment, nothing else in the frame.
Works well
- One garment, laid flat or neatly folded
- Plain surface — a table, a floor, a sheet
- Shot straight down, whole garment in frame
- Ordinary daylight; phone cameras are fine
Risks a rejection
- Props staged around the piece — a bag, a magazine, dried flowers
- More than one garment in the photo
- Someone already wearing it, or a mannequin
- Another brand's label or logo visible in the shot
Some of these get through and shoot fine — but the check is the one thing standing between a prop and your model wearing it. A rejection never costs a credit, so it is free to try.
